Ella Creative Academy is a new make-up academy based in Liverpool offering a number of courses specialising in hair and make up artist skills. We have a hand picked a team of experienced hair and make-up artist to pass on the skill needed to work in the make-up industry. All our tutors are working make-up artist and can provide current training focused on the latest make-up looks ad trend, as well as practical advice on how to get started as a make-up artist

Ruth Marcella

Ruth is well known in the UK for her fashion and design flair having studied fashion at the London College of Fashion. Ruth is a leading UK hair and make-up artist and has worked with an impressive line-up of well-known companies including Sky TV, Puma, Liverpool Football Club, Everton Football Club, Vevo Music,EMI Records, BBC and many more.

Ruth has also previously organised and led teams of make-up artists at large UK fashion catwalk shows and music events. In addition, Ruth also runs a successful hair and make-up freelance business as well as teaching media make-up in local education institutes and consulting for brands such as Unilver.

Nadine Tan

Nadine is a North West based make-up artist with who started her career with MAC cosmetics before moving on to become team leader and coach at the make-up brand Charlotte Tilbury. She has had experience in Fashion and has had work published in magazines and worked on music events, private clients and is currently working as a freelance make-up artist throughout the UK

Jen Hunter

Jen teaches the Ella Creative fashion and media make-up courses and she’s a highly-skilled, award-winning make-up artist who has worked in the industry for nine years. Jen spends her time running her own make-up studio and teaching courses across the North West.

Lindsey Belger

Lindsey Belger started her Instagram page back in May 2014 to share photos with family and friends, but she quickly discovered what a supportive community it holds and has now amassed over 14K followers. A master at body paint and creating character Lindsey has been featured at PRO Beauty and is part of the online alley cats body painting team.

Any working make up artist needs a high quality portfolio to represent their skills . We have highly experienced fashion photographers visiting the academy to photograph our media students work aswell as a partnership with Vessel a leading UK studio to get experience of a studio life

Our academy is run by working make-up artists and hairstylists . All who currently work in the industry. What makes ECA different is all our tutors have come directly from Fashion, Film, TV, Commercial or personal client industry and can pass on the latest techniques and skills
